To promote the sport of sailing in the State of Telangana and the interests of the sportspersons in every manner.

To encourage and mutually beneficial activity and practices for the member clubs of the Telangana Sailing Association in every manner.

To encourage and promote all varieties of water sports in clean and pollution free water bodies in the State of Telangana.

To own and manage the common areas, and put them to appropriate use for the common benefit of the members and the Society.

To promote cooperation with the State Government to grow the sport across all districts and set up as many sailing clubs as possible.

To assist sportspersons to participate in National and International championships and provide them with all possible assistance.

To positively engage and associate with all State and Central Government sports bodies and all other associations related to sports.

To increase the size of the fleet of boats across the State.

To employ the staff required for fulfilling the above objectives of the Association..

To foster relations with other Yacht/Sailing associations in India and abroad.

To maintain cordial relations with the Port Authorities, India Navy, Coast Guard authorities at all times so as to achieve smooth functioning of our objective.

To make available the facilities and train people in the sport of sailing irrespective of cast, creed, religion, sex etc., and to broad-base the sport by keeping it inexpensive and making it available to children of all economic strata of society.

To arrange and conduct yearly Boat Races and organize Annual Sailing Programs.

To make suitable representations to the Central and State Governments to promote yachting/sailing and allied sports.

To do such other things as may be considered as to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the aforesaid objectives.
